The New Home of Jane Olson Rug Studio

A year has passed since I dropped everything and moved my grandmother Jane Olson's business up to my house in Northern California. It was a very difficult endeavor, having to take apart my grandmother's studio, say goodbye to her in her final days, and then trucking all the hooking supplies up north to be set up again and open for business. I could not have done it without the full support of my family, especially my husband, who were all so helpful and happy that I was carrying on Jane's legacy. I have struggled this year just trying to maintain my day job, take care of my two children who are in middle school and high school now, and also run the new business. I appreciate all the encouragement and patience that you have extended to me as my new customers. I will be leaving my day job soon, after 18 years, and will be devoting more time to Green Valley Rug Hooking. I am compiling an email list to advertise sales, specials and workshop/events. If you would like to get notices about these things, please email me. I will be updating my site with Jane's patterns soon but in the meantime, I do have a print copy of her catalog with all her patterns available by mail. I am also happy to announce that I now accept credit cards! You will need to contact me be phone to give me the number as I do not have a point of purchase website but just let me know if you would like to pay by credit card.
